About
The idea behind...
In an era of hyper-connection and continuous flow of information and news especially from digital media, vulnerability related to exposure to disinformation, fake news and risks is becoming stronger and stronger.
Teachers are facing heavy difficulties in embedding novel teaching approaches that can stimulate critical thinking in their daily classes.
In this context, students also deal with serious deficit in developing independent critical thinking, which exposes them to the risk of deviance in their behavior within civil society.
Of course, parents and guardians are a crucial part of this equation, as in most cases they do not even have the basic knowledge to address this topic.
Our mission...
...is to empower teachers in developing, testing and assessing novel approaches through ITE (Initial Teacher Education) and CPD (Continuous Professional Development)...
...is to improve students' ability to critically and safely navigate in online environments by bridging the inter-generational gap between students and teachers in the digital and media field...
...is to promote innovative approaches and evidence-based policy in education alongside public awareness about disinformation and cognitive biases...
